Don’t mix Clopidogrel with Omeprazole!

The FDA has issued a public health advisory warning patients and physicians that concomitant use of clopidogrel (Plavix) and omeprazole (Omez) blunts the antiplatelet effect of clopidogrel, thus increasing the risk of myocardial infarction and stroke.
